Attached to Technology and Paying a Price

After reading the article "Attached to Technology and Paying a Price," I was shocked with how much technology takes over people and runs their life. I definitely take part in my fair share of technology from texting, emails, games, blogging, face book, etc. but never once have I ever felt that I couldn't control my life and reality because of my need/want to be online or watching TV. I was disappointed in the fact that Mr. Campbell let technology take favor over his family and ruin opportunities that will never come again.

Also another thing that I was surprised to read was that multitasking is not beneficial. I am one who definitely multitask more often then not so I was a little disappointed after reading that. I enjoyed this article because it is showing us that as time goes on we are being taken over by multimedia and the Internet without even realizing it. My final thoughts on the article are that even when you think you are doing good or doing something that will benefit you or others be aware of your surroundings because that is not necessarily true especially when it comes to the reality and facts of life.
